Currently, in the inspection industry, companies tend to operate more as staffing agencies by utilizing "discount" API, NACE and CWI inspectors, these companies prioritize cost reduction, resulting in lower pay for inspections and a decrease in the quality of services provided to clients. This long-standing practice has recently become problematic for inspectors, as their wages have significantly decreased in recent years. Additionally, clients have repeatedly voiced concerns about the quality of inspections.
In contrast to API, NACE, and CWI inspectors, NDT inspectors possess qualifications but must undergo certification through their employers. This certification process involves verifying classroom training, on-the-job training, and testing. Each time an NDT inspector works for one of the traditional inspection companies, they have to go through the time-consuming and expensive process of certification.

As an inspector at United Inspections and Consulting (UIC), you will benefit from several key advantages. One of these advantages is our commitment to transparency in our rates. We ensure that inspectors receive 80% of their billable rate, giving you a fair share of the earnings for your work.
In addition, when you refer work to other inspectors or equipment, you will receive 5% of the billable rate for that work as well. This incentivizes collaboration within our team and rewards you for contributing to the success of your fellow inspectors.
